I know a lot of you started with great cars that have nice stiff frames, but my lowly Mustang was made about as strong as a wet noodle. I want to get a set of subrame connectors installed before the season starts, but not sure where to have them installed at. I already have them picked out (Maximum Motorsports, link), so it's just a matter of ordering them and getting them installed.

Have any of you had to deal with SFCs? If so, where did you get them installed? I figure if nothing else, I'll go to the guy up in Watertown who does a lot of Mustang work.

Hey Luke,

I'd check with Nick's Garage. He owns a mustang and does great work for VERY reasonable prices. If you get on SFR, he's 95whitestang on there. Shoot him a pm and see what he says. If not, then check out http://www.nicks-garage.com

I'm getting my ported mani/IX turbo installed there this Wednesday; just don't have the time to get it done myself!

+1

Nick is a good guy to deal with, and seems to know about mustangs.

Thanks. I actually might know Nick. I used to hang with him a little bit a few years ago, but haven't talked to him in a while. I didn't realize he had his own shop now days.

I sent him a PM on SFR, so I'll see what he responds back with.

Thanks guys!

PS: Don't worry Tony, if you've done anything at all to prepare for this season, I'm sure you'll get me! :D I haven't done anything to myself or my car this winter. The SFCs, and new brakes are about all I have planned for the car. As for me, there are a couple of driving books I got that I'd like to read, but don't know if I'll be able to before the season starts.

Dang, he said he doesn't trust his welder enough to do them. Any other suggestions?

I'll just have Excessive do it. Sounded like they've done a few before.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll let you know how it turns out! :)
