You don't need 4wd/awd to have fun at a rallyX!! You don't need a bunch of horsepower either!! Dirt has a great way of equalizing cars. Too much power will just make the front tires spin. My old Escort LX can run with many of the Subies and Evos. Speeds are a little slower than at an AutoX cross but you are full throttle much more of the time. Heck, I only lift going into a corner to induce some lift throttle oversteer to get the car to rotate! It is WAY more intense than an autoX!! Expect 4 runs in the morning and another in the afternoon. Your whole class runs together so if we have to change the course between heats it doesn't hurt class competition. All your runs are scored and added together for your TOTAL time. You have to be quick every run. 2 seconds for a pylon. 10 seconds for a missed gate. We hand time the runs... count down style. 3, 2, 1, GO! The clock starts on "GO!" If you are late off the line, you are wasting time. If you jump the start, 10 second penalty!
Cars are classes on drive line configuration. FWD, RWD, AWD and modifications. Stock, Prepared, Modified. (Modified only has two classes - AWD and 2WD)

You don't have to pay online, but they would like to get an idea of how many people are coming as Jim Phillips is planning on bringing lunch for everyone.
