Ok, I've gone through this twice and just want to make sure I've got things classed correctly for my car.

03 Evo (NXC ++14)

+5 for being turbo
+14 for being ** in C

235 width tires - 0 points

Trunk gutted - 1 point
Carbon Fiber hood - 1 point

Airbox removed for cone filter mounted on MAF - 1 point

Evo MR struts (not stock on my car) - 3 points
Swift Spec-R springs - 2 points
Perrin rear sway bar (bar, mounts, endlinks) - 2 points

10 points for modifications
5 points for being turbocharged
14 points for NXC**
29 TOTAL POINTS

20-39 points -> up one class, thus...

I'd be NXB.

And just a shot in the dark, I have an Evo IX turbo laying around and plan on putting that on this winter, porting the exhaust manifold, putting a test pipe in and deleting the muffler. Then get my ECU flashed. I'm guessing the turbo "upgrade" would put me in A, correct?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, Ian, looks like you'll be in NX-B!

If you do compete here and put that IX turbo on, you'll be sent right to NX-U, not NX-A.

There will be three evos out there for sure this weekend. Paul may come on Sunday with his if he can make it in time.

We'll see you Sat!
:D

Thanks Brent.

Dammit on that IX turbo... I got it, so I might as well put it on. Oh well.

I'm going to have to do some reading as to what it'll do with SCCA classing. It's weird bouncing between the two. But I guess the game is the same - don't drive like an a**.

I'm looking forward to seeing some Evos rip it up, along with others of course.

Welcome. Class B is the best (I'm biased). Your not with the big dogs in E and RUS, but you should be fine in B. We have had quite a few new people join B IIRC. Most have been Evo's as well!

See you tomorrow.
