Aren't those 4 banger turbos? How would you do that? A t3 on one bank and a t4 on the other? Also why would you have to make it a manual with a t-56? [/questionaire]

A T3/T4 is a single Turbo. you just have to make the exhaust Flow to it correctly to make it work. Just take a bit of custom pipeing since there really is no kits made for V6 camaro's As for the t56 Trans is a bigger 6 spd manual since if i rember correctly his car is a automatic. So if he was gona swap to the a 305 or 350 he was considering doing a swap to a manual since the auto he has for his may not of been stout enough or have the proper bell housing to bolt up to a V8 so he was looking into alternatives to make the car better and more fun. But again a costly modification.

In any case i can wait to see you get the turbo setup done on the car it will really livein it up

Didn't mean to embarres ya atcually i didn't know there was a T55 turbo that was avaible for the saleen either. so guess we are both alittle behind on things He refered going to a manual and i knew you could pick up t56 trans outta many year GM sports Cars just there Gear Ratios are diffrent.

won't work, different block and heads than my 3.1 (same internals though)

and yes, the turbo will DEFINITELY liven the car up. at 11psi i'm looking at around 350-375RWHP, all in a 3100lbs car  i will have to find some posi gears though, unless i want to make a smoke-screen around every right hand corner

oh ya Todd, i forgot to mention that the 3.1 is already a stroker. GM made a factory stroker out of it. the engine started out life as a 2.8 :D

it begins. and i'm staying away from boost too. shooting for 250whp N/A. i'm definitely loosing the stock iron heads, they flow 125cfm. i'm gonna grab some 3500 heads (they're off the 3.5 V6 in the Pontiac G6, direct bolt-ons too), and run a bigger cam (might have to have a custom grind)
