ROAD TRIP

05/23/09 - 05/24/09 @ LAP-Nationals Site

yep, thats what i was thinking.

I would have to say that is the best option for those looking to fill that gap.

Otherwise RC may have something and other race venues may as well.

I think this would do for our schedule though.

Wohoo! Can't wait to get back out there! That big gap does kind of suck, but that night race in July with a normal race the next day should help make up for it. :)

I'm thinking of a way I could invite myself that wouldn't sound like a tapeworm trying to invite it's way into your stomach, but can't :/ . So can I come?

I was hopin race but now that ya mentioned my mommy and all I kinda forgot that they'd probably need parent signature too if they'd even let me then.

Anyway it could be done by fax or something? You can sign via fax for buying an AK-47 on the internet so I hope the LAP people wouldn't bust a nut over a licensed person being able to race :(

Better get in contact with them about it. Hit up the regional SCCA club and they could help you out.

I believe SCCA needs to have the parent or guardian on site during the race. Its not so much the waiver with them. Its the parental responsibility (kids tend to screw around less when parents are around.) Tony- I agree with Dustin- get in contact with them, but I bet they still say you need to have them along.

If I travel for an event this year- that may be the one. I doubt it though. Maybe me and Steve and work something out- HUH MR PRESIDENT?

Just to make it a bit easier on some people this is how Nebraskas and our schedules overlap for events at there lincoln site which is where nationals will be held they have about 3-4 events where they have to name a location at. As you can see 3 of our events overlap with theres. so hate to say it guys more then likely i may be in licoln on them weekends for a couple for sure. the Pro solo is a definate.

It's all good marcus i understand that it's a bummer in a way but what can a person do you can't get everything scheduled to not conflict with someone else for something that is we will still make it to plenty of the local events.

The parents/guardians do not have to be on the site for an SCCA event:

Minors (anyone age 18 and under in Nebraska!) - You must have a waiver in order to participate in Solo, Rallycross and Race Events. This waiver must be printed in color, and must be either notorized or signed in the presence of an SCCA Member.

What are the rules for SCCS and NASA?

If thats the case Tony we have some waivers that are still good and just need it signed in front of a SCCA member- we can figure that out.
