Hey all,

Just curious if there is a shop in or around the area that does corner balancing/weighting?

If so, any info/help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I guess this would be a good time to ask...Does your balancing go out after time? and how do you know if a new balancing is due?

Corner weight are effected by a lot of things. They do change do to suspension pair wear and miss alignment.

Corner weights take a little work to get right. As statemented they change with alignment and setup adjustments. It works best if you have a couple people to help. The driver needs to be seated in the car to get them correct.

I have a ruggle scale setup that works to get things close but they are not the easiest to use.

After doing any adjustments make sure you roll the car back and forth a number of time to settle the car. Also make sure you disconnect at least one end of your sway bars if you can. Then when you connect them back up make sure you corner weights do not change. This is where the adjustable end links help. Do not use the swaybar to fudge/adjust the corner weights. This will cause other problems.

I have been thinking about buy a electronic setup but I also want to get a setup platform too so that pushing things out of the budget.

Yeah, after reading a bit more about it with my day off today, it seems overkill. I was wanting to maximize the setup I have, but not sure if this would be worth it...
