It seems the end of the season has me thinking of next years tire plans. I have ran the Falken Azeni RT-615 (195 60 R14) on stock size wheels for the last couple years. i have been kicking around the notion of wider and or stickier tires with wider wheels. Spec miata runs a Toyo RA-1 and just switched to a R888 on a 15 by 7 inch wheel. take offs of these would be considerable better choice than the tires that i have been running. Upon looking on the interweb i have been unable to find any vendor that sells used race tires with the exception of ebay or classifieds.

Any one know of a source of spec miata or general take offs?

Car is a 1991 Mazda Miata, stock brakes with EBC pads, adjustable dampening suspension with tein lowing springs, stock power.

Dustin has a number for a guy... Toyo's are usually readily available.

Just as a note, SCCA Spec Miata is making the Toyo RA-1 an option for next year.

Also most SCCA regions and divisions have their own websites. Your best luck is finding some one runs at the national class level because they tend to swap out more often to get the better lap times.
