Post race discussion last night centered on Banquet Location and date.

Any ideas or concerns, i personally really like the place we have done it the last two years. the 360 Bar and Grill. Anyone know if they are still around?

Any Date ideas?

I agree. I really like what we have had the last few years. It looks like its closed now.

As for a date, how much time will it take to tally final results and to order and pickup the various awards?

We can have the results the day of the last race if we are feeling up to it. Otherwise we could have it done sometime after that. Lets find a place and a date and we will worry about results then.

Shenanigans?

Usually you can bank on the awards taking 2 weeks from final results being posted up. Depending on how busy they are. I am not sure exactly until we talk to them. Really depends on the results.

Super Troopers FTW!

Is this going to be like old track and field days in grade school where I got a ribbon saying I'm a winner even if I didn't win?

On a serious note, I'll see if I can make it to the banquet wherever it is. Estherville sucks so any excuse to get out of here for a night is fine by me.

No but the more you run with us the more likely you are to get a "fun" award for something you do at an event.

IE we have Monkey award, Cone Killer, The Paddle, NOS Energy award etc. Amongst a few others. Really whatever we come up with some night when we get drunk and go shopping.

Shenanigans?

Yes, that's the name of the 360 in tea now. I will see if they still have the same setup.

So, what about Sat., Oct. 24th at Shenanigans in Tea at 6pm? Drinks before at 5pm? Just throwing an idea out there...

Nov would also work better for making sure we have all the plaques ready to go. 2 weeks is doable but makes it a pretty tight time line.
